Alexander Wang fall 2015 collection is all about black, edgy, rebellious and extremely styled. “Our retailers are always saying, ‘Can we have the black version?’” said Wang during a preview. “So I said, ‘Why don’t we just do an all-black collection?’”
In the black clothes loaded with hardware and heavy metal, the models stomped out with wet stringy hair covering their faces in these extreme flatforms featuring thick lug-sole made of EVA with deep threads at the bottom, creating a powerful silhouette.
Lace up combat boots upper and studded straps with giant buckles added more aggressiveness to the total design, channeling rebellious yet playful energy.
Down the memory lane, after designing a Fall 2008 collection using black as the predominant color, Wang designed his Spring 2009 collection in all bright colors. Would fashion history repeat itself? Just wait and see.
