Chanel Shoes Fall Winter 2016 - 2017

Chanel ready to wear fall winter 2016 – 2017 fashion show took place in Grand Palais, but this time there is no supermarket, no airport, no casino, just white carpet with gold chairs and very crowded audience, back to the original setup of how couture houses used to show their collections to their customers in the old times.

Chanel ready to wear fall winter 2016 – 2017 collection is about classic Chanel at its most delightful, and yet also speaking to a trend of the moment. It’s a reconfirmation that the obvious house accouterments are still important to the collection as opposed to the doubt of playing down on them. “I use them now in oversize and overvolume. I use them in scarves and things like that — jackets and coats, and things like this.” said Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl Lagerfeld’s interpretation of “house codes” is remarkable. Pearls in piles, boaters, camellias were worked into the collection with chic modernity. Suits in vibrant pinks and berries came in a lean down to the knee silhouette in many variations.  Camellia was printed on pants and completed with a shrunken jean jacket. Hats held in place with chinstraps and fastened with big jewelry buckles.

Among piles of glorious excess are the tweet leather riding boots featuring sturdy comfortable block heels. Shaft is connected to the bottom upper with the back zipper strap and roped up at the front, which created an interesting cage vision around the ankle.
