Charlotte Olympia Resort 2017 Collection was inspired by nature and named as “Secret Garden”. The designer celebrates nature in bloom with vivid calligraphic references to ladybugs, bees, leaf, daisies and cats, which are all over the brand classic silhouette of pumps, flats and Perspex clutch box.
The British accessory designer continued her design philosophy of creating luxurious, feminine shoes and accessories with a sense of humor in her Resort 2017 collection. A vibrant sense of color and fun ran through the entire collection.
Polka dots pattern is particularly the designer’s favorite this time as inspired of the ladybugs.
Even though flowers have been the long term topic on many runway shows, there is nothing wishy-washy about the way Charlotte Olympia interpreted the theme with her own unique presentation. The graphic approach sent us to the childhood moments of studying bees, bugs and plants in the garden during a hot summer day.
The flowers fade when summer ends. But Charlotte Olympia’s fun shoes and handbags would put a smile on your face and cheer you up for a long time.
