Christophe Lemaire Spring Summer 2015 show took place in a huge, meditative space in the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, to a soundtrack of Nini Raviolette’s “Suis-Je Normale?”. The collection is quiet luxury with impeccable understatement, right fit for his target audience of the women who are intrepid, determined and on the move.

The shoes of Christophe Lemaire are also carrying the quality of simplicity, normality and calm, with the sense of understatement. The platform and the chunky heels are luxuriously genuine leather stacked with the upper made of soft kidskin leather. The upper designs are simple but the shoes are made with very good quality materials and with attention to comfort.

The designer chose comfortable mid and low heels/wedges for the mule. As the heel goes higher on the wedge, ankle straps are added to the upper for comfort and walkability, much appreciated by women on the move.
