Dior Fall 2015 collection is about nature and urbanity. Raf Simons explored the inspiration of animal prints, “a new kind of camouflage” as described by the designer “something more liberated, darker, more sexual.”, along with “Wall Street boyfriend jackets” for the urban side of the story, characterized with the confident Manhattan working women cutting a swath in a man’s world.
The shoes on the runway continued with the second-skin tight silhouette as shown in Dior Couture Spring 2015, featuring rounded square toe, golden trimmed camouflaged or solid color Lucite block heels and two-tone camouflaged patent glossy upper, presenting the animal essence of total collection, a blown-out reinterpretation that was so abstract as to look psychedelic.
