Fendi collection fall winter 2017/2018 is about grown-up chic. “No fairy tales!” said Karl Lagerfeld. Featuring pointy toe, the thigh high boots on the runway are elegant and luxurious.
With leather at front and knitted stretchy upper at the back, the pull on thigh high boots are designed in bright red with two white straps at the top of knitted back shaft, which added a relaxed sporty youthful twist to the high polished look while soften the toughness and wildness of leather.
The velvet boots appeared in the same silhouette for evening looks. Back shaft was knitted in glittery purple matching up the shimmering shine of velvet at front.
Craftsmanship and the detailing like the geometry pattern of toe piece are impeccable on these boots. The shaft was tailored in a comfortable fit with very forgiving knitted piece to suit various calf sizes.
“I am not a prophet,” Karl Lagerfeld explained to Vogue “To me, this is a job, a job like any other, which I’m lucky to do. I sketch—I have the easy part, I just say, ‘I want!’ But Fendi is very well coordinated, and I must say, the cutting in the studio in Rome, the way they make the toiles is formidable.”
