When it comes to shoes, Milan fashion week has been our favorite. Not only the design is fascinating, but also the engineeing is memorable. For fall/winter 2014-2015,  Italian shoe designers turned into a little more casual than the glitzy glamour in the past.

Marni, the label that well known for jazzy flat, decorated their flats with colorful stones, metal edge & caps. Gucci went all out on python prints. Versace created a peep look with strings on their shoes.

Prada inspired their latest collection with German culture of the 1980s, film and music. The wedges were finished with mechanical rivet dents on the heel and metallic leather for the upper. British fashion icon, Alexa Chung found the super-high wedge shoes with a rubberized finish were somewhat intimidating for her but she will give it a go.

Dolce & Gabbana presented their heavily laced flats with pearls and colorful stones. The water soluble laced thigh high boots were backed with see through mesh, luxuriously impressive. The designer also integrated some rivets into the chunky heel shoe designs.

Fendi boots feature medium height chunky heels, side zipper opening with crossed straps on the front. The straps riveted on the outerside of the boots and went under the sole. The materials are horse hair and cow hide pebbled leather, very warm and proper choices for winter boots.

Fendi had a furry figure on a string, which called “Bag Boy Karlito”. It is completed with a neat white pony tail, large white collar and black tie, a little look alike of Karl Lagerfeld. Venturini Fendi said it all started with the Fendi bag bugs: festive little creatures that hang from Fendi’s handbags.
