J.W. Anderson Collection Fall Winter 2017/2018 is about uberfeminine. Ranged from sneakers, knee high boots to slip on sandals, the shoes on the runway are wearable, sophisticated and young.

Knee high boots are refreshingly designed with a zipper opening running from the tip of the toe to the top of the shaft. Stitched in white, the outersole was crafted in the diamond shape, look like an arrow head from front. The tapered square heel added extra modernity to the total look. Slight loose fit of the shaft are very forgiving, enhanced the casual style and look relaxed rather than screaming sexy.

Grounded with the same heel as boots, the strap sandal boots are designed with a small bow at front of each strap. The lean cut of the bows and the right proportion of straps created a very interesting vision, delivered a style which is girly and chic.

In the color tones of tan and white, the slip-on sandals are put together with white ribbons across front and square toe opening. Low cut silhouette on the back upper updated the design to the current trend of mules.
According to WWD, Anderson described the collection as a style odyssey. “You have this idea of something that is uberfeminine, but at the same time it can crash, and then it kind of builds itself up again. It’s this idea of stripping it right back to an outline silhouette — something very reduced — and then you start to build it up again,”
