Lanvin shoes fall winter 2017/2018 at Paris fashion week are about tender and strong femininity. “It’s not a political act, but in the world we live in today, it’s important to give beauty and love.” said Bouchra Jarrar.
Accessorized with fishnets, the models were walking down the runway in simple silhouette of strap up flats or chained ankle boots. Feather or beaded ruffled up ornaments were occasionally presented with main focus on the shoes for day wear.
Crafted with leather, the flats were designed with pointy toes. Ultra feminine velvet straps crisscrossed at the front and buckled up around the ankle. The contrast of shimmering velvet or satin and glossy leather or chains around the outersole sent a message of toughened up dreamy romanticism.
More punkish approach came with the ankle boots finished with patent python print, chained up on the back and around the outersole. Derived from men shoes, accessorized with delicate elegant silk or satin dresses, these ankle boots hit the high notes on empowered femininity to express romance and confidence. The counterbalance showed us the femininity infused with strong tough aesthetics, resulting in practical meaningful refreshing daywear.
