Moschino shoes fall winter 2017/2018 at Milan fashion week are fun, creative and gorgeous. Moschino collection fall winter 2017/2018 is about cardboard couture, very environmentally friendly.
Using industrial and household waste like cardboard, plastic, shower curtains, shopping bags, adding on packing tapes here and there, Jeremy Scott delivered a fabulous collection of shoes on the runway, refreshing and amazingly wearable.
It may look like “ripped from the pages of Vogue” but don’t mistake it as paper made. By using custom printed fabric, the colorful collage of old Moschino editorials were presented on the upper of pointy toe thigh high boots.
Then there were straight tailored brown boots made of printed leather resemble corrugated cardboard, detailed with black production numbers and symbol of “keep dry”.
Black and white boots look like stacked shopping bags, with “Moschino” printed on the side. Handles are hanging on the side, quirky and conceptual.
Some boots and pumps are covered with rows of packing tapes in silver, golden or black, which you can totally DIY at home. When muted black suede meets shining sticking tape, the visually interesting contrast delivered a message of futuristic and modernity, as printed on the designer’s T-shirt “Couture is an attitude. It’s not a price point.”
