The fashion icon, socialite and model, Olivia Palermo, recently set her mind on a new adventure as fashion shoe designer. The newlywed has announced that she’s planning to release a capsule collection this fall with Aquazzura.

“The Aquazzura aesthetic very much fits my own, so it made sense to collaborate with my good friend Edgardo.” Olivia said, “I think it is no secret that I love a good shoe, so I very much enjoyed creating a ‘survival pack’ for every occasion and women of all ages.”

Six styles are introduced in this capsule collection, including a pair inspired by a vintage necklace, thigh-high boots, and suede booties, lace-up gladiators, metallic and suede sandals. The collection, priced from $600 to $1,625, will be available this September at select retailers, including Net-A-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Holt Renfrew.

Aquazzura is a Florence based label, founded in 2011 by Edgardo Osorio. Before launching his own label, Edgardo had worked for Salvatore Ferragamo and Roberto Cavalli.

“Olivia and I have a very similar vision of shoes,” said Edgardo, “She is a real style icon and has amazing knowledge about shoes and accessories. We wanted to create a capsule collection of the styles every woman needs in her closet, interpreted with the Aquazzura aesthetic.”
