Stella McCartney Elyse flatform oxford was a big hit in the past seasons. They are loved by the street style icons, fashion bloggers and celebrities for the perfect balance of dressy and casual chic and stood out for its unique structures.
Stella McCartney shoes spring summer 2017 at Paris fashion week continued with the exploration of polish side and casual side as inspired by “girl power”. “Capturing the spirit of life and love in the spirit of summer” as explained in her show notes.
For the casual side, the designer introduced flat or low heel sandals. Buttoned leather were pieced together as upper, simply structured with a easy fun approach.
On the polish side, the designer introduced high heel pointy toe glove shoe with high cut upper for a retro look and feminine interpretation, and later in the show updated with checkerboard patchwork, studded leather patterns or asymmetric tailored pump line for extra drama.
With “no fur”, “no leather”, “all is love” and “thanks, girls.” printed on the clothes, the messages of cruelty free living was loud and clear throughout the show. As a longtime vegetarian who neither wears leather or fur nor makes her label in them, Stella McCartney made sure no animals were killed for her shoes.
It’s all about sustainability and fun. At the end of the show, models were on the runway, dancing and singing with beautiful smiles, which cheered up the audience too on a joyful girl power.
