Versace Shoes At Milan Fashion Week Fall Winter 2015/2016

Versace titled the show #Greek. Donatella Versac said she “closed the door to the archive” and is looking outward at the tech revolution of our times to redefine Versace for the world today, with a new symbol, which is printed on the clothes, golden-plated on the heels and platforms, embroidered on the tights and embossed onto the bags.

“I mixed up the Versace key pattern with our new emoji. It’s our new symbol,” said the designer. “It’s the past going to the future for the Internet.” The practical daywear of Versace fall collection, including trench coat, pinstripe pantsuits, pencil skirts, sweatshirts, are upbeat and bold, with the mentality rebooted from the reality of what people wear on the street.

The shoes were presented on the red floor with Versace sleekness delivered in bright colors. Pointy toe pumps with straps crossed at the back are set on red heels and platforms with Versace new symbols plated in golden. The branding escalated on the pointy toe bootie with golden embroidery all over the upper, which also made its way to the straps of the sandals. The hashtag #GREEK is buried within the symbolism.
