Kate Middleton may not appear on red carpets frequently. But the terrific style impact she has on red carpet fashion is undeniable. When Kate Middleton is arranged to participate in an award program, the anticipation is genuine. Known as Kate Middleton effect, the items worn by The Duchess of Cambridge tend to fly off the shelves and sold out soon. For red carpet events, Kate Middleton is loyal to her favorite fashion brands, most of which are British talents including Alice Temperley, Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham. Recently at Royal Variety Performance show, Kate Middleton sported another custom made glamorous gown by Jenny Packham and looked fabulous at the star studded event.
Whilst thousands have actually been waiting to see exactly what The Duchess of Cambridge would wear to this special occasion, it’s clear that it deserved the wait. Looked elegant and stylish, Kate Middleton stepped out in a floor length bespoke Jenny Packham gown. The glittery long sleeved silk dress was layered in shades of blue, sparkling and shining with the heavy embellishments of stones and crystals all over.
Kate Middleton completed her outstanding red carpet look with a pair of glitter pumps in silver by Oscar de la Renta. Featuring pointy toe and 4 inch stiletto, the pumps were crafted with curved upper, raised back and finished in a glistening platinum lamé fabric, which added the perfect amount of refinement to the total attire.
Being chic and thrifty, this is not the first time Kate Middleton stepped out in these pumps. They were debuted at the UK-India Year of Culture event back in February 2017. The Duchess of Cambridge is not afraid to wear the same fashion items repeatedly. But the amazing thing is that she can always manage to recycle them with a brand new signature style every step of the way. Infusing something new to the old and deliver a stunning refreshing style everyone talking about, which made Kate Middleton one of the style masters we all look up to.
