Olivia Palermo has a flair for completely integrating the polished and the practical, blending couture with Zara. For her latest appearance at Paris haute couture fashion week, the fashionista showed us how to wear an expensive ensemble without high heels.
The American socialite styled a deeply plunging white mini-dress with a strong scarlet heart motif and finished the appearance with the bow embellished flat shoes in black and white. The white coat she threw over her shoulders is in the same theme with an embroidered red hand holding a heart plastered on the chest. Olivia Palermo completed the look with a crocodile print mini clutch bag.
The same flat shoes made appearance last week when the style star dressed up for a celebration in New York City, wearing a ruffled pink mini dress with a pink structured bag and same pointed flat loafers with bow detailing. Color coordinated high heels are usually picked for the dress code of party time like this. Palermo’s style with comfortable flat shoes made an enjoyable pain-free upgrade. It also lends some casual chic to the party dress to look effortless cool.
Later at Giambattista Valli Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week show, Olivia Palermo stepped into an ivory gown with delicate lace detailing on sleeves and hem. She completed the look with a pair of studded block heel oxfords to balance the ultra-femininity of the lace dress.
Other than flat shoes, Olivia Palermo was also in the mood of being comfortable with kitten heels. She appeared at the front row of Elie Saab fall 2017 show at Paris Haute Couture fashion week, wearing a glamorous statement jacket and a pair of pointy toe kitten heel slingback shoes with sequin detailing.
Same kitten heels were also styled with a patterned dress and ruffled jacket at Dior fall 2017 show at Paris Haute Couture fashion week.
