Burberry Prorsum collection at London fashion week Fall Winter 2015/2016 was titled Patchwork, Pattern and Prints, inspired by late-Sixties and early-Seventies bohemian culture and handmade goods.

“It started with the idea of folk art and craftsmanship — and people who learn to do things with their hands,” said Burberry’s chief executive and creative officer.

The suede ankle boots, featuring a cut out front opening and stiletto, are patch-riveted with long fringe dangling at the back and short fringe hanging under the patch pieces, creating a swirling design that catches the eye. The thigh high suede boots are patched with whipstitches, rich in earth tones, a motif that also found on trench coats and poncho.
