For Miu Miu fall winter 2015/2016 collection, Miuccia Prada wanted to do something very alive and fun.
“Instinct? I like that word,” said Miuccia Prada after her show. “I wanted to put things together in a naive way, not caring, always wrong, with that attitude of instinct. It started with the mutation of ostrich in Prada, the genetic modification, the idea of a new species.”
As the last show of fashion week, Miu Miu collection is fun, wearable, bright in color and vintage themed. Prada explored the obsession with animal prints on the shoes, mixed with color clashing and glitter. Accessorized with big plastic buttons or giant square buckles, the shoes are postmodern designed set on block heels or kitten heels, featuring extended pointy toe with wide straps across the upper, as Lady Diana would wear in 80’s.
