Moschino shoes spring summer 2017 at Milan fashion week are about 2D prints – printed floral or logo motif upper for pumps, printed golden logo letters on the boots, truly tricked the eyes from distance. In fact, the whole collection of Moschino spring 2017 is about life-size paper doll clothes and printed accessories including belts, bags, hats and bracelets.

Obviously, paper dolls are the inspiration for Moschino spring 2017 collection and the designer had been sitting on the idea for a few years. Jeremy Scott, the creative director, believes we are so bombarded by the social media these days that soon face-to-face conversation is going to feel awkward.

This is like the opposite approach of see-now-buy-now concept. Instead of having all the cloth and shoes ready to be purchased in store, Moschino’s 2D prints are charming eye candies which you can’t wear or touch or feel but only insta-good on cameras feeding to the ever-increasing high demands of fashion.
