Fall / Winter 2013 – 2014 Shoe Trend Alert (1) – Metallic Features
Metallic featured shoe trend has been started since last season. It got carried on in fall and winter shoe collections and expanded into many varieties.
Alexenda Mcqueen, Gucci, Miu Miu, Jil Sander, Lanvin, Prada, Clements Ribeiro integrated the trend with metallic leather including metallic patch or straps.
Dolce & gabbanna took it a step further and built a floral cage under the shoe. Metallic heels are also spotted on Fendi, Gianfranco Ferré, Michael van der Ham, Moschino.
Saint Laurent, Chanel, Versace refresh the trend with rivets, studs and chains on their edgy chic shoe designs.
