London fashion week spring 2015 revealed the exclusive collections from some of the world top fashion designers.

The shoes on the runway are continued with the sporty chic and added with jungle boom, 1970’s floral trend and vibrant colors. Since comfort is no longer the enemy of style, flat shoes are here to stay. Sensible flat shoes were everywhere on London catwalks.

Here are some must see shoe designs on the runway of London fashion week Spring 2015.

House of Holland runway shoes spring summer 2015

The theme of House of Holland spring summer 2015 ready-to-wear is about 1970’s, the days of free love and uninhibited rock legends. Retro floral and fringe covered Holland’s looks.

Holland explained in the back stage that Holland’s Spring girl was scrappy but savvy, who would steal her grandmother’s engagement rings, and stacked them on her fingers, carrying iridescent handbags.

The shoes on the runway of House of Holland spring summer 2015 are colorful and floral inspired. The leaf-shaped back uppers are trimmed with snake print iridescent edges. Thin strips tied at the front with dangling tassels, perfect match for iridescent leather miniskirts and a sparkly blue rain jacket splashed with polka dots.

Tom-Ford-Shoes-Spring-Summer-2015

Tom Ford noted his show of Spring 2015 as mined the designs from the late Nineties for inspiration. Tousle-haired, smoky-eyed, the tall thin rock chic runway girls sported high waist pantsuits, super short skirts and long black evening dresses banded with beaded bondage straps.

The shoes on the runway of Tom Ford Spring 2015 are towered with super high platforms, rivet studded along the side for the seventies glam rock. The designer used animal prints, ultra high chunky heels, glossy metallic leather to tone up the wildness of the shoe designs, adding rebellious edge to the collection.

In the soundtrack of “Addicted to Love”, seven feet tall girls teetering down the mirrored catwalk in their sky high platform sandals created a dramatic impression in these shoes.

Antonio-Berardi-Shoes-Spring-Summer-2015

Antonio Berardi Spring 2015 ready to wear collection is light and romantic. “We live in a time when there’s a lot of heavy things going on and I think we need to calm down and breathe. I wanted those clothes to breathe as well,” the designer explained.

The inspiration for his latest collection is the film, The Flowers of War, that he stumbled onto while flipping channels in Italy. It’s a historical drama during the 1937 Rape of Nanking in the Second Sino-Japanese War. Christian Bale played an American mortician in the movie, trying to keep school girls and other refugees safe in a church and found a way to escape eventually.

The Asian-inspirations are obvious with sexy cheongsam-style dresses, organza pantsuits, fluttering cape-like blouses and the sack-back drama of gowns.

The shoes on the runway are very feminine and wearable. The designer used metallic leather and patent to express the light diffusing through stained glass as in a church. The sandals are romantically decorated with chiffon flowers. Booties are strip-constructed with asymmetric straps across the foot.
