Versus Versace collection fall winter 2017/2018 continues the theme of previous season with street style inspired easy to wear pieces targeting the young audience who look for something cool, glamorous, rebellious and punkish edgy.

The shoes on the runway were presented with quite bit of varieties including combat boots, ankle boots, flatforms, fashion sneakers and strap sandals in the variations of high and low, different materials and colors.

Like in spring collection, combat boots are still the main focus of the brand’s design team. Introduced in two versions of knee high and ankle high, the heeled combat boots are designed with lace up front going all the way, started at the tip of the toe and ended on top of the shaft. By using fabric and leather for upper, the design was styled casual chic. Ultra high chunky heel and square toe added tough grungy and confident attitude. Release buckles were used on the upper straps for a hint of athletic element. They are also easier to open compared to the traditional pin buckles.

In the same silhouette of square toe and chunky heels (high and low versions), the side zipper ankle boots were designed with a leather strap going from the tip of the toe box to the top of shaft. Upper was made of leather and fabric, snugged around the ankle neatly.

Then there were combat boots designed for walking with thick rubber soles. Black ankle socks printed white letters of “VERSUS” were styled with these boots. A Velcro closure strap across the leather upper from side to side. With a square fabric padding underneath, it feels a bit sporty.
