On the catwalk of Chanel spring 2019, the see-through shoes were given a new spin. Beach themed Chanel spring 2019 collection took place in the Grand Palais. The place once again had dramatic makeover while set up as ocean front with gentle waves, blue sky, wooden docks and sandy beach. The models walked out bare feet with shoes in hand wearing classic Chanel tweed suits.

Simple PVC slippers completed the polished Chanel vocation beach styles. Adorned with double-C logo of Chanel, the clear strap sandals looked causal chic. Ground with Lucite block heels, the minimalist silhouette of slippers contrasted the dressy boxy jacket for a futuristic touch. If the cropped sweater, tweed jackets and quilted bags are like a girl treasure hunting in her mother’s fashion closet of ‘80s, the shoes brought the vintage fashion up to date.
