With futuristic theme in the mind of many designers, plastic, vinyl or patent leather was used in the way that it’s never done before. Whether it’s plastic covered shoes, transparent handbags, clear see through trench coats, vinyl pants or plastic bowler hat, the cheap material had a luxurious makeover and took the spot light unexpectedly.
Even though plastic trend is tricky to pull off, many celebrities and style stars still managed to sport the trend and delivered some amazing styles. The monochromatic style was grounded with a pair of trendy white Chelsea ankle boots. The color contrast of black and white enhanced the look with a refreshing and chic touch. The color coordinated black elastic on the side of the ankle boots completed the look for a visually interesting twist.
