As a garden enthusiast, the Dutchess enjoyed the gardening time on the visit and built a “Bug-ingham Palace” with schoolchildren, a natural house constructed with leaves and sticks for caterpillars, beetles and ladybugs etc.
Known for being thrifty, the Duchess of Cambridge took a pair of knee high boots she had for a decade on this new ride. Featuring comfortable flat sole, side zipper opening with a tassel zipper pull and buckled straps, the knee high boots by Penelope Chilvers had made several appearances since she started dating Prince William. The distressed shaft delivered a vintage feel and the tough leather finish made them durable and functional throughout years. The buckled straps offered the right amount of adjustment to keep the boots fit around the tucked in jeans or knee high socks perfectly. The popping out zipper tongue on the side enhanced the boots with artful geometry pattern decoration.

For the school visit event, Kate Middleton styled her trusty knee high boots with black skinny jeans and a military inspired Barbour jacket in green. The cozy turtleneck sweater underneath the jacket is detailed with a visual interesting touch of honeycomb pattern at high collar and sleeves.
