Hundreds of thousands people turned out on the streets of major cities across the United States on Saturday afternoon to join March for Our Lives, a student driven movement calling for action against gun violence. To show their support of gun control, many celebrities joined March for Our Lives rally on Saturday afternoon, including Amal and George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye and Kim Kardashian West, Amy Schumer, Yara Shahidi, Selena Gomez and many more. The movement was backed up with a lot of star powers to make the voice heard.
The support from fashion world was there too. From fashion designer like Zac Posen, Rebecca Minkoff and Christian Siriano to models like Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber and Hailey Baldwin, many designers, models and stylists participated in the rally on the streets of NYC or LA, and the photos were shared on their influential social media for more attention.
Joined by friend and fellow model Charlotte Lawrence, Kaia Gerber hit the street of Los Angeles in chic street style. The model off duty was wearing denim shorts, crop top and a leather jacket. Kaia Gerber grounded the look with a pair of black combat boots to edge up the style. Charlotte Lawrence paired her combat boots with a floral dress to offset the rebellious attitude with a feminine touch.
Kendall Jenner was wearing a blue denim jacket on her day of activism. On the back of her denim jacket, it reads “God save us ……He ain’t my president” with Trump’s photo printed. The model grounded the look with a pair of practical and stylish white sneakers. Hailey Baldwin looked effortless cool in a pair of glossy black vinyl leggings, black leather jacket and long sleeve hoodie printed “March for Our Lives”. The casual chic look was completed with a pair Louis Vuitton bulky dad sneakers to walk down the streets in comfort.
