Proenza Schouler shoes resort 2017 are about an emphasis on handcrafts. For their spring 2017 collection, the creative directors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, went to Paris and visited “almost defunct” couture ateliers for some of the techniques they used in the designs.

In almost tribal look of the primary bright color stripes, the slide mules were grounded with chunky heels for a casual smart style and paired with fringed upper for a boho-chic and artisanal essence. The minimalist in the design is modernist and well-engineered.

The strap sandals were woven in black and white leather and finished with a buckled leather strap cross around the ankle. White chunky heels and rosy colored midsole contrasted the black and white upper for a mood lifting.

It’s about“color, energy, technology. It’s all of those things, and then it’s crafts and artisanal constructions,” said Jack McCollough.
