Alexander Wang shoes fall winter 2017/2018 are tough edgy with a touch of femininity. The show took place in RKO Hamilton Theater with audience standing around without obvious rows like in a night club waiting for a rock show. Models were sporting the collection mostly in black or gray including suits, leather pants, leggings, short and denim with accents of studs and glitter. Even though “no after-party” was spotted on sheer stockings and Alexander Wang’s own T-shirt, the collection was ironically party girl themed.

It was started with ankle boots featuring silver tone zipper opening at front and back. Pointy toe and super thin high stiletto are undeniable sexy while the silver ball studs around the outersole added punk rock flavor.

Then there were grungy rider Chelsea boots, a key element to a tough girl look, neatly pebble stitched on the front and back with Velcro strap on the side. Tiny silver balls brighten up the edge around outersole.

Pointy toe lace pumps and stockings hit the high tone of femininity and adorned with the collection’s signature bling of silver ball studs.
“[The models] just feel like a very cool gang of girls that you’d really want to hang out with; Alex’s girls are always girls you want to be with at the party,” said Guido Palau, the editorial hairstylist of the show.
