As her first royal engagement together with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle went to Nottingham England today, visiting the Terrace Higgins Trust World AIDS Day charity fair. The couple was styled as color-ordinated on their first high profile public appearance after the announcement of royal engagement. The royal event style debut of Meghan Markle was elegant, sophisticated and significantly sartorially with her trendy ensemble of tailored long coat, midi skirt and a pair of slouchy suede boots. Her husband-to-be, Prince Harry, was wearing a navy blue coat with white shirt and a pair of suede boots in the same shade matching Meghan Markle’s coat.
Different from her usual red carpet looks, Meghan Markle chose a double breasted coat in navy from Canadian brand Mackage for the royal engagement and paired it with a full length pleated camel skirt by British brand Joseph for a lady like touch. The color contrast of camel and navy looked stylish and calm. The bride-to-be completed the look with a pair of mid-calf suede boots featuring pointy toe and cone shaped heels. The slouchy silhouette is one of the major boots trends of the season and delivered casual cool vibe.
Meghan Markle finished her outfit with a leather handbag by Scottish brand Strathberry. The burgundy handbag added a pop of color to the attire with handles in matching shade of her midi skirt.
