Inspired by his obsessions with sci-fi imagery, Nicolas Ghesquière delivered a retro-futuristic collection for Louis Vuitton spring 2019. Monk strap inspired ankle boots with modern twists completed the garments for a traditional yet fashion-forward vibe. Updated with zippers, ruffles, pinstripes and trendy glossy python print, the centuries old footwear had a makeover.
